Meet Your Tutors
Hi, I’m Megan, the founder of Vector Learning.
I’m an Ontario-based math and science tutor with 8 years of experience supporting students in Grades 9–12 math and science courses. I specialize in helping students prepare for tests and exams through structured, curriculum-aligned lessons that focus on problem-solving strategies and exam application.
I studied Neuroscience and Mathematics at the University of Guelph, which strongly informs the way I teach. My approach emphasizes logical thinking, pattern recognition, and understanding why concepts work—so students can apply them confidently under exam conditions, not just memorize steps.
At Vector Learning, tutoring sessions are:
Aligned with the Ontario curriculum
Focused on how exam questions are written and graded
Built around clear, repeatable methods
Tailored to each student’s course, level, and timeline
Whether a student needs consistent support throughout the semester or targeted exam preparation, the goal is always the same: clarity, confidence, and measurable improvement.
Hi, I'm Advikaa, a science tutor at Vector Learning.
I’m a math and science tutor with 10 years of experience guiding students from high school to university in their math and science courses. I specialize in re-teaching course material through one-on-one personalized instruction, breaking down complex concepts into clear, accessible explanations tailored to each student's learning style and pace.
I have a Bachelors in Science with a focus in in Forensic Sciences Biology and Analytical Chemistry and a Masters of Sciences in Chemistry with a focus in electro, materials, and analytical chemistry from University of Toronto. With my academic and professional background my approach in teaching focuses on understanding fundamental concepts to allow for building connections between complex topics.
My goal is to equip my students with the skill set to approach their exams with confidence and knowledge that isn’t based on memorized facts. To achieve this my sessions at Vector learning are designed to:
Strengthen core concepts and their application to exam questions.
Deepen understanding through problems that connect multiple concepts.
Understand how and why scientific processes work, not just memorize them
Strengthen logical thinking and pattern recognition across concepts
Apply conceptual understanding to new questions and challenges
Build independent learning skills for long-term success in science
I am currently accepting new students for SCH3U, SCH4U, SBI3U, SBI4U, and Grade 9–10 Science. Biology is my favorite subject to teach because I enjoy helping students connect concepts and understand how different biological systems interact to sustain life. My goal is to help students develop a strong foundation in science while building the critical thinking skills and confidence needed for success in their academic journey.
Hi, I’m Makenzie, a science tutor at Vector Learning.
I studied Biochemistry at the University of Guelph, where I graduated with honours. I currently work in forensic science outside of tutoring.
I specialize in supporting high school science students, with a strong focus on building foundational understanding and connecting concepts across units. My favourite course from the Ontario curriculum is Grade 11 University Chemistry (SCH3U), where students begin to see how different areas of chemistry come together in a more meaningful way.
At Vector Learning, my sessions are designed to help students:
Break down complex scientific concepts into clear, manageable steps
Understand how and why processes work, not just memorize them
Apply their knowledge to exam-style questions with confidence
Strengthen problem-solving skills across biology and chemistry topics
I am currently accepting new students for Grade 10 Academic Science (SNC2D). My goal is to help students build a strong foundation in science while developing the skills and confidence they need to succeed in future courses.
